Hey everyone, I finally sat down yesterday to work on the dollhouse for the Undersized Urbanite dollhouse contest, but when I started taking it apart and cleaning it, I realized there is more work
than I thought. We're working on a new show for our channel so I don't have much time to spend on the project. So I decided to enter the new set for the show, the apartment.
Here is video of what I've done so far.
I am working on a few projects for the apartment.
Here are some before shots.
I want to make the kitchen island a bit taller, it's too short.
I have already painted the table white to match the chairs.
I want to change the background.
I will also be adding more to this kitchen counter.
That's all for now. I hope you will all vote for me.
I found this dollhouse at a garage sale for only $2, it is broken but I can see the potential and hope it works out as it does it my head right now. I will be entering this dollhouse in the Undersized Urbanite dollhouse contest due in Feburary. VOTE FOR ME!
My goal is to make it look like a real home. I have all the materials I need, all I need now is time. Subscribe and follow this blog for updates a long the way. I hope you will all take some time and vote for me and my dollhouse when the contest is running.

I was going to transform another dollhouse for barbies, but the size was
scaring me, didn't think I would have time to finish it before the contest was over.
Than I saw this dollhouse at a garage sale, for only $2. As soon as I saw it
I knew this was the dollhouse to enter, I could already picture what I was going to do
with the exterior.
Dark grey brick with lots of grey and black accents, maybe a red door?
Not sure what to do with the inside. The couches and chairs are going
to be hard to remove, its attached to the house, but I really want to get rid of them and use
other furniture I have. I may have to build around them.
The second floor is scaring me too, I haven't removed the tape yet and have a
really good look at it, but looks like most of the second floor is falling apart, I hope
I can fix it with some wood pieces and popsicle sticks.
I think the window is an easy fix, want to make it look like the other one.
I'm thinking coffee stir sticks will do it.
Can't wait to start working on it, will have to put aside a couple of hours
a day to get it finished it time.
Tell me your thoughts on what I should do with the inside. I do prefer
